I guess the definition of recruiting is needed. Talking to a player about joining your squad is recruiting. I kow I talked to DaWife when Opt(RIP)i was a member of BS and She was SPQR. I thought it would be cool to have another hubby wife team in BS:)
That is recruiting, it's also poaching/head-hunting which is frowned upon.
What happens at SysX though is that some RandomVoob@Squad goes "bleugh I hate my squad im quitting, hmm SysX looks like a cool squad I want to join them" and then we go
PM Brood and then either laugh at said application or accept the pilot.

Given how broken the ASGS tools are at the moment I assume magic in any squad roster update.

Nah, I have never been recruited. I made my own decissions based on my appraisal.
But now for DSM it is a completely different story. We are surely recruiting actively from other squads. This is how we get all those peons, who are unable to make their own decissions. So the leadership can be secure about keeping total power and no mutiny will ever appear. We even work together with the admins, who permabanned shautsky for successfully mutinying MW in a squadgame. THIS SHALL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!11
PS: Ryjamsan come over and join our ranks. We have the seewtest candy and the darkest sky over here. Also you will enjoy being reigned by me.
