thats because you have to pay a lot of attention at 120 mph (which is how fast people try to go in gta)
a 20 mph tank will not have that problem.

but i would suggest the camera be further behind the vehicle than in gta-sa as that way you can at least see a bit in front when looking to the side.

see ut2004 tank for pretty good control whilst aiming. (or even the gta-sa tank come to think of it, thats not too bad.)

but you have made me think, will there be multi-player vehicles? hvy scout hover bikes that go really fast and had a 360 degree machine gun on the back for the turret would be awesome. can just imagine trying to run from an interceptor whilst peppering it with turret fire is an awesome image.

Indeed, we should have something like that, maybe even get three people onto one vehical (driver, gunner, passenger who can fire a pistol/machine gun etc)

I reiterate what I said when this project was still in Caddi's mind.

Check out http://warrock.gamersfirst.com/new_user.php?cid=

It was orginally just FPS with a couple of vehicles on smallish maps. It is now a full blown all out scale war fest with choppers, tanks, bikes, jeeps, hummers etc.

I was a beta tester for 2 years for them and was hooked for the whole time.

NOTE: Since its upgrade and move, some slower machines might have FPS issues /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Im new at modeling, and I just threw this together. When I made it, I had the IC stealth tank in mind, but since im a noob at modeling, use it for anything it fits with.

It looks kind of like a person. And that hole, in the centre ...

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

That was supposed to be for missles, but now that i think about it, it is a bit disturbing. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

I've made a few other tries since I posted the first one, but it has really been hard to get that tough round look.
