It doesn't matter. You still have to face reality eventually, even if you keep pushing the boundaries. We are running out of arable land, and our cities are covering areas that used to be the best and most fertile fields not long ago.

If you tree-hugging Luddites would stop whining about "global warming" and actually do something to accelerate it, then vast amounts of Canada (10 million sq. km) and Russia (17 million sq. km) would become available for farming.
