i haven't and I'm not and you're just whining about nothing.
but realistically this game is infinitely too difficult and complex for effective new player retention in 2018 and if I wanted to global lead indicator to bait noobs into playing it would be well worth it
gamers these days expect to be able to instantly jump into a game and shoot things with playstyle/keymap that has been standardized for 15+ years. any curve at all is too much to ask from most anyone under like 21 year old because they're the 4 year olds with cell phones generation
this game has virtually no newb retention whatsoever, there's just a mess of old vets that remain and more and more of them get too busy to play/lose interest as time passes
there are only games played for like 24 hours or less out of an entire week. none of your or my principals matter when nobody plays the game anyway.

If as the bomber pilot you don't fly directly straight into the enemy defenders/dumbfires, you're playing your role at maximum skill level; If as a nan you nan another nan at any point, you are playing your role at maximum skill level; if as a turret you can manage zoom and target prioritization while following the green dot around, you are playing your role at maximum skill level.
It's always been this way more or less and yet you still play the game. I can't imagine why *shrug*.
...meanwhile, the other commander notices there is minimal activity in eyed areas and orders go on a htt run on your techbase/ gar in a much better trade because...you know...he and his team are playing their role at maximum skill level.

whoring is the pinnacle of skill based play, that's why the best whores are the best at every role. basically everything else in this game is skill-less. if you can't whore then you are trash.

We don't get much newbies and your changes will just bore all the vets out of the game completely

Pretty much everything you say is completely wrong. Stick to whoring. Leave the thinking to me.

Based on your decision making last game I don't think leaving thinking to you is a wise idea

You might not consider me a vet, but I find games involving carriers exceedingly boring
because of the lead indicators. Suddenly the skill gap that I've carefully spent time developing between myself and {insert random person} is gone.
Quite frankly, I love carrier play because I love the idea of a mobile base that lets you rip in a small number of fighters and also lets them reload out in the field. I think carrier play is one of the more interesting aspects of Allegiance because of how much it adds. I think carriers relaying lead indicators is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge downside to carrier play. I think lead indicators were removed from TF because it made TF unfun to fly against. I think that as a newbie I was mostly confused as to why sometimes I had that little green dot and why I didn't. I also think that
I am not the only person who thinks this, that these are exactly the reasons TF's enh/adv tech lost lead indicators in the first place back in CC04 or whatever. I also think that you have no idea why those lead indicators were removed in the first place nor did you ever bother to spend time trying to learn why those lead indicators were removed in the first place.
The only advantage I see to this lead indicator change is now voobs in ints won't just get roflstomped by their betters when trying to defend a bomb run. By the way the fact that you also posted this:
Sheriff Metz wrote:QUOTE (Sheriff Metz @ Feb 27 2018, 01:39 PM) Escorting a bomber/htt with a fighter/interceptor will be more purposeful now for most people. Having everyone obligated to nan duty is lame. If you're "great at nanning" (whatever that means), do that;
means that whatever K10 might say, you're not a utility pilot. The difference between Adaven and XJammer nanning a bomb run and Voob1 and Voob2 nanning is night and day. Voobs 1 and 2 are just speed bumps taking a total of a quarter rack of mini2. Adaven and XJammer will xnan each other, put prox in strategic places, and move in such a way as to actually do their job, which is to buy the bbr enough time to launch enough missiles (or for the HTT to dock at the base).

Can I just get a straight answer as to whether you're trying to make bombing easier or harder? Nerfing prox and one-sided res and the rant about scouts able to permaeye seems to indicate you want it easier, but you seem to have no problem with three-four figs being able to df1 spike a mostly uneyed bomb run with plenty of nans on a less than 1.5k run. Then you go add lead indicator. So now I'm really confused.

This. How many newbies do you think lead indicators will ACTUALLY retain, how many of those newbies do we actually WANT to retain, and how many vets do you think you're pissing off in the process . Do the math.
It's really beginning to worry me that you don't respect anyone's opinion but your own, that you won't listen to ANY feedback no matter how many vets tell you the same thing.
