Steam SDK also supports a notification system so that we can say: When a game goes over 4x4 players (or some such value), broadcast a notification to all steam clients for people who own the game that a game is in session and needs more players. If you're like me, Steam is running 99% of the time on my machine anyway. Having it bounce up and go: "yo! There's a game on, let's go!" would be sweet!
As I told Fishbone, this whole thing is giving me a metal taste in my mouth. Even if it doesn't get us a landslide of new players, just to finally be able to you guys these features is very exciting! At least you'll have an easy way to see when a game is on.
As far as key maps go, someone post a link to the keymap you want to set the default to. I will update it while I am working on the other changes.
For high rez textures, is there a reliable way to reproduce the issue? If someone can send me the steps, I will take a look at this as well.
Thanks all!
