I don't think Roberts is malicious or greedy, I just don't think he's up to the task of creating what he's promised (if it's possible at all).

I mean that by 2018 there will be a game released called Star Citizen that contains some or all of the promised content. I don't know the detail of what that's likely to be and I don't think I'd be qualified to judge even if I had detailed knowledge of the goals.
If a game of some description isn't released it's because CIG is no longer a going concern.

Star citizen will fail, wayyyy too much feature creep.
And after 100 millions in crowdfunding and an incredible number of promises, where are we? Still in alpha? wth only one system of the "persistent universe" available
Don't get me wrong the game looks stunning but as crysis 3 it holds no gameplay value for me atm

any game that takes longer to develop than it takes wales to go from getting beat six-one off the serbs to getting to the semi finals of a major football tournament is doomed
and lets face it, this should not be news to anyone - all the signs were there, just like agri really knows that girl in his laundrette isnt interested in him at all, but he decides to ignore this because she smiles at him every time he goes in there to pick his work trousers up

So what's been released for SC since this thread was last active? How is development going? It's all gone quiet in the news so I presume something's happening which is all for the good.
