have active enforcement. I have been here since the beginning and I have seen good people leave, not because of over enforcement but under enforcement.
As far as 'messages to the community' being sent, Here's a message;
Screw around enough, you will get tossed out.
+1
In honor of that I will within the next ten days: Reinstall and play a game of Allegiance. It has been quite some time since I have done it
and the community goes *yawn*

So you delete posts that don't agree with your objectives and now you ban players because they irritate you. Nice work Dome, you managed to live up to the standards of those who proceeded you.
This is equivalent to banning someone off the server when you've got GC and they're dissing you. You can mute him in this forum and on the servers yet you have to take revenge instead.
This simply demonstrates that you cannot control your temper when others lose theirs. You have no business holding that ban stick when you use it for personal attacks.
[15:25] <BBT_> oh, so da vinci's mona lisa isn't his work?
[15:25] <+fuh-zz> No, he simply put effort into it.
[15:25] <BBT_> are you really that retarded?
Hmm... The other one who was "perma banned" complains that another one got "perma banned", again.
Anyway, Masta knew he was walking on dangerous ground and was testing out the borders, for years. Dome was only the one who finally pulled the trigger, after he gone to far.
The Escapist (Justin Emerson) @ Dec 21 2010, 02:33 PM:
The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.

Yaknow...he claims that he (Metz) can run the whole show. He has an alternative web site. Why don't you get in touch with him and set up you're own host server. See how much of a playerbase you guys can build. With the way he treats other people,you should be up to two in no time.
