Commander Carnage Sunday!
Yeah that was good stuff. Thanks to you both for a good read.
We should do a rematch.
Or a Cashto v Metz game?
Just FYI to anyone reading this that YOU TOO can schedule commander carnage games on Saturdays or Sundays... or whatever other day you want! Just message me.
Who wants to command vs me this Sunday? Does anyone want to call anyone else out for a game on Saturday? Post in here or PM me.

metz!! you sound like you either picked people randomly without knowing who they are and what they are capable of, or either,i assum you dont remember sysx beat twice their numbers using fighters vs interceptors.. it was like 1fig > 2 ints.Sheriff Metz wrote:QUOTE (Sheriff Metz @ May 19 2014, 04:43 PM) I'm going to assume that 15 light ints prevail against 15 starting 15 figs, every time, and if I end up wrong, I'd rather take that loss than play under the assumption that my team is comprised of useless infants.
I'm not going to play in a manner that facilitates players becoming WORSE at the game than they already are. You've already done enough to contribute to that cause.
that means never understimate your opponent..15 figs along with proxers camping an aleph can devastate quite a lot of interceptors.. just a moment of losing awareness and poof, your op dies before you realize the fighters have regrouped and are coming back in higher numbers than you can contain in the sector :\
It didn't go down anything like that.kaiser33 wrote:QUOTE (kaiser33 @ May 20 2014, 11:52 PM) metz!! you sound like you either picked people randomly without knowing who they are and what they are capable of, or either,i assum you dont remember sysx beat twice their numbers using fighters vs interceptors.. it was like 1fig > 2 ints.

umm i think a good leader should be in the front lines either givng the example and rising moral, or overviewing and directing his troops so they dont fall into a trap or roam around without havent been given a direct order or purpose..Sheriff Metz wrote:QUOTE (Sheriff Metz @ May 19 2014, 07:12 PM) I will always play like I have a great team, and my team can rise to meet that expectation.
I will not play to a lower standard. I'd rather lose.
Real leaders make people the best versions of themselves, not the worst.
Your opportunities to lead, teach, and inspire, have been miserable failures.
Tell me more about leadership, Mr. employee.
people are good, but without being directed they will do the first thing they think, instead of the first thing YOU think/need done.
"the biggest weakness of man is fearing being weak" maybe you expected too much and fell for that..that tends to happen!
They were told what to do. I was there, and I can say, Metz's qualms are well founded.
During the initial clash of interceptors with the fighters, I popped. We ultimately ended up having only about a third of our ints pop.
I immediately proceeded to get a pickup, grab an int with an extra fuel can, and boost the entire way back to the sector. As I was approaching the Aleph that the op con was also approaching, I saw not a single interceptor or scout escorting it. They were all *#$@ing around with a single fig+scout flying around. The op con proceeded to go through the aleph, into 5 fighters (We had 7 ints at that point.)
Although I had been popped in the previous fight, I was still the first person through. No scout came to nan the con, and the other ints came through the aleph about 2 seconds before the con popped (it still managed to survive for about 15 seconds as the belter attacked it.)
That said, Metz is acting like a manbaby about it.

I don't want that time to be a @#(!-storm of hate and schadenfreude.
While I dont play, your description baffles me as "Why not just re-direct the con" is a fairly obvious question given the circumstance (you can blame those 7 ints as much as you like, but not making the decision given the circumstances is equally dumb)
- Why did you not defend the con?
-- We were distracted - why did you send the con when we werent there to defend it?
