This game is a long way away to be thinking of forming any alliances. Also if the game does get made I'm sure SA's Goonsquad will be doing some overwhelming Alliance.

Also until it's known how the flying style is us Allegites might not have any superior advantage. Flying might be Freelancer style, or maybe Freespace.

If they have something like nanning and bombing then we can do well :P

Also it's on kickstarter now http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cig/st...itizen?ref=live

If someone uploads this to a server and we do cloud gaming for this, I am so down, however my lame PC will not run it :( else I would pledge my left nut for this.

And knowing Robers' past history, it will probably barely run on a top of the line machine on the day it is released.

I backed on the kickstarter, but then I checked the actual website http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/ and saw it's doing a seperate funding program there too. Since I already made an account when I saw this thread http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...showtopic=67105 I wondered if I should have funded on the RSI site instead?

I presume I'll get an access code when kickstarter finishes to link my kickstarter to my RSI account. Their website says they will link them some time.

The more I find out about this the better it gets - no DRM, eyefinity support, trackIR support, high poly detailed models.

*edit* ploy/poly :P

I do like models which are devious and use tactics.

So yeah they have lots of money on RSI and are getting more from Kickstarter. I hope this works well and hopefully with no publisher pushing means it won't get rushed, but it not getting rushed might mean more then 2014 for game to get released.

Heck im still waiting for Infinity which I can't tell if it's dead or not.

Oh man, this is just what I was hoping to see some day from kickstarter. Def pledging. Hope all of you do too given this is sort of right up our ally.
