I busted my ass to see that developers were resourced with help. I put in more time testing and reporting the R6 project than anyone. I tolerated the eccentric and abusive behaviors of Devs knowing that it is just something that goes with the territory. You have busted your ass to chase Devs away and prevent any hope of R6 being released. Any effort put into BETA at this point is all for nothing and every Dev knows it. THAT'S why you have zero development outside of that lame list you provided which is a royal joke considering the amount of time you've been Dev Lead. Where is your development team by the way? Who are you "Leading". What is your goal here?

You're posting this beta server announcement as though it is something useful or worthwhile for others to participate in; to troubleshoot the R6 software even though there is no hope whatsoever of it ever being released.

Call it bitching or ranting all you like, the truth stands on it's own and is obvious to anyone who has wasted their time with this.

The problem is that a lot of people including the ZLs think that 'lead' means leading as in a medieval world.

that is, give orders, delegate grunt work and take credit for work done then give some cookies here and there.

I clearly don't know why people have this 'mindset', it comes probably from the top 'head' in here or bad IRL experiences they had. Or it is cultural and people are stuck in the past century (err millennium even).

'Leading' in my way of thinking is completely different. Leading is, first of all, about removing obstacles, facilitating work. Leading is creating connections between people. Leading is showing the way , protecting the doers and taking the fire. It's like when a group travels in the jungle : the lead guy remove obstacles, make a way and get attacked by the nasty beasts. He's not the angry guy with a whip behind the group yelling 'move faster you scums!' that's not a leader, that's a moron.

That been said, the issues here are well known, I've been explaining them for 4 years now. Explaining and criticizing is easy thing you might say, doing actual stuff or proposing alternative solutions is harder. I've done that too.

The lack of plan is the main issue. then leading people to follow the plan is the other. And sorry but R6 isn't a plan, R6 is just Imago crippling the code with trash.

I've proposed a plan 4 years ago and I'm still today. I've proposed an organisation too. All got lost in the sea of trolling and whining that plague this forum.

Than I stopped for a minute and asked myself why they don't listen or even give a feedback. I came to the conclusion that the people in charge do not care anymore and the majority of the community who might care doesn't read these forums anymore because of the 'noise' level. They simply do not know.

So it's kinda a deadlock: the majority cannot hear you and the people in charge who control the tools to reach the majority don't care anymore. So let it die. Once the people who control the tools are gone we will have a way to reach the majority again. Soon. Very soon.

Beware of what you ask for.

You do stuff with no logic or realistic motivation behind. you do stuff just because you can , most of the time just to show off. You never discuss with OTHERS BEFORE doing something, you never weight the pros & cons of the changes you do and HOW you do them.
You do stuff impulsively and take for granted that everyone SHOULD be on board with these changes because YOU did them. If people start questioning the why and how, you usually go mental or disappear. You never never think about the consequences of your changes.
You never think of what other people are, come from, know and can do.

I've never read of well constructed, argumentative and mature post from you. Like a lot of people, I barely understand your posts actually.
Most of them, including that one, show you have real communication issues, you don't take time to THINK before ACTING.

It's now pretty clear that you have very serious mental health issues, and with ADHD too and other retardness symptoms. You're probably staying in an institution or specialized environment.
Nothing personal here, it's just a fact that anyone here can see just by reading your posts and your behavior. It's time to say it out loud.
Don't wonder if you find people harsh or strange or if they ignore you, it's normal , people don't usually know how to interact with the mentally ill ones.

As for still been here, you're just lucky the current management is technically clueless and a bit afraid of you. You crash servers when you go mental but no one is banning you like they should because they fear you could do worst. Then they ask ME for help to fix the damn security holes in the code to prevent you from misbehaving.

Now that'll be the last time I directly reply to one of your post. Not because you asked but because others might wander why I consider your changes as 'trash'. I hope they'll understand now. I doubt you will.
