Shockingly poor England performance vs Argentina and in a closed roof stadium nobody should kick as badly as either team did. Looks like my prediction of England scraping through is on track!
Edit: Since when did I predict Japan would beat France? Nice idea but clearly never going to happen (unless France choose to suck). Saying that France Japan was a good game and well worth watching.
USA v Ireland was a good performance from the US despite the result (which came from about 10 minutes of the game in truth). Defending that well against a much stronger pack is something to take pride in as is that last minute try, best score I've seem in the tournament so far.

I thought you couldn't change your prediction after the game started (or ended) Gandalf

I was wondering why you were stuck on 20 pts, problem with site or forgot to upload predictions?

Well spotted HSharp.... I have 2 entries as I run a parallel competition for my RL friends. I put my predictions in the RL entry just fine but forgot to put in my alleg enty. So I copied them across & gave myself the points retrospectively

I had prioritised getting everything sorted & working (which it *almost* is now) ahead of putting my own predictions in so hope you can forgive me this - won't happen again, honest...
Wales result was just so predictable (well, I predicted it anyway

). Playing well but a narrow defeat, just like the last 2 or 3 times we've played South Africa. Unlucky for both Wales & Argentina to lose.
Looks like England are trying to repeat the 2007 pattern of being utterly awful at the start but then coming good & reaching the final...
Good to see no-one is doing worse than "I just made them up" lexaal!
Next fixture is on Wednesday, remember to get your predictions in by then.

Out of interest Gandy, what would I have scored if I'd picked France vs Japan the other way round (swap the scores as it were)?

11 points instead of 2 - you'd only have gone up one place.
There's a long way left yet though guys

Ppffft I knew some people wouldn't have put predictions in. Hop to it HSharp and Broasca!
I should really sort out a proper email reminder system though.
Regarding today's results, I say congratulations to the good folk of Canada for their win, and Scotland won how they know best - without scoring any tries
