Everyone knows the reason the Mayan calendar stops on that particular date is because that's when they ran out of room for numbers. They figured they could just extend it if they were still around.

Why does everyone love trumpets for announcing the end of the world? They're not even a melodic instrument! It should say piccolos will announce the end of the world. Being forced to listen to those is TORTURE I tell you. TORTURE!
