well yeah being big your forced to develop your leg muscles, which is why fat people have legs like tree trunks, you just get lazy on your upper body which is why push ups are harder. If your a big person and you just do the same weights as a shorter person then your going to be weaker in upper body proportionally so it's yer own damn fault for not working out harder :P

I mean, its not BAD, its just not "excellent" Anyone who wants to max out points on their PT tests have to get under a 9:15 1.5 mile run-time, >67 pushups and >58 situps both in under one minute respectively. You also have to get under a 35" waist (it used to be you had to be under 32" to get a perfect on the waist measurement)

Overall, i usually score a 83-84 on the test, which is kinda @#(!ty comparatively.

completed day 1. Here's to anyone else who wants to record their progress to show you're still doing it with others. Or not :)
I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.

I'm debating to do the pull ups at the same time (but one tier lower than I should be) or something. Don't want to over-do it but I want to work my back a bit more

My new favourite thing. A power club

I think this one's 12kg, mine's only 8, but you go out in the garden and swing it about like a loon. Stronger in no time. Particularly if you try and replicate your fave light sabre moves. Yours for 30 quid off Amazon.

I bet it worries the neighbours though ;)

30 quid for a lump of lead? Bleugh I could just replicate that by using half a dumbell.

I do the same whilst holding weights, although usually boxing jabs rather than swings, that could be fun.. I might just get a heavy iron sword instead (I know a few guys in reenactment who could get me one cheap) :D

32" waist would be pretty rough, I imagine there are a lot of fit guys who don't have 32" waists!

My waist is about 36" but I'm built like a dwarf. 5'8" 205 lbs. Consequently, I can pretty easily do about 45-50 push ups.
