I just changed a few settings which should optimize the forum's database.

I get the occasional pauses when loading random pages (I'm talking about 2 seconds here) but apart from that everything seems to be a-ok.

Posting isn't as quick as it could be but that's not a huge issue either.

Unbelievably zippy. One thousand percent improvement, at least, possibly more.

All of the old hitching has stopped and even posting is far speedier.
