My second question goes unanswered.

Why should I care? How is this going to accurately compare my skill to others peoples or whatever it is doing?

I don't understand, this compares you to another pilot in every single statistical aspect. It all depends of course on how one defines "skill". If you can't find a use for it Seymor don't worry about it, this software isn't for you.

@BlackViper thanks but everyone is different and some people LIKE stat watching and trying to improve skill level. I'm that person sometimes. Some of us need structure and stats playing an online game, it's just in their nature. Perhaps its because I'm young (16, 17 in October)...I feel like its in my nature to atleast slightly tweak my stats and compete with others. Maybe the older players of Allegiance just want to game and game only and couldn't care less, that's cool. But like I said i'm just catering for the small section of the community that are into this kind of thing, if you don't care AT ALL about your stats...this software is useless to you.

But stats dont matter and therefore this would not show any valuable comparision to another player.

However it is cool to look at

You're correct stats don't matter, although it has its uses. For example if your stats have been steadily declining for a couple of months you might ask yourself why. Squads can use it to keep an eye on newbies that look promising, there's all kinds of uses...albeit with limitations as you note. I'm not claiming this is uber-useful and all you need to prove how good you are in Allegiance. I'm just saying its a useful tool that can be exploited in a few ways some of which more useful than others.

Thanks for the reply.

did you know that I arbitrarily raise and lower my rank to stay at right about 17.5?

Nope but then this program will be a blessing for you wont it, letting you easily check after each game tiny changes made to your stats and you can adapt accordingly to continue 17.5 and the graph will show how closely you've kept to this goal.
