Typos and a few broken code tags are easier to fix than a page that looks visually simplistic, rough, and completely dull. I'm sorry, but SpaceJunk's page looks impressive and pretty and exciting, and the problems it does have can be fixed without requiring much of a redesign to the way it looks. Your new proposal looks... like the forum. Only more boring.

It would be a good page to "go live" if Allegiance was a spreadsheet app or something.

I feel bad for putting it so bluntly, but frankly I cannot understand how you can offer up a rather boring copy of the forum design as a serious alternative to SpaceJunk's design, and claim that it looks better.

Of course, having said all that, *I* couldn't design any page, so... well... Anyway.

That is your opinion. I feel this page is not only a lot more professional, but also better looking and far LESS dull than the page currently up.

I think it looks like a poor attempt at copying Eve's page and I don't like the background/look much so it wouldn't take much for me to say something looks better. However, I do like the look of this page and think it is the best front page we have so far, except maybe Dorjan's if he were to finish it all the way.

The only thing I might do to this page to change the look would be to change the background to something like I have on the other concept I'm working on..minus the ships.

Aside from the background: I have incorporated the updates into my original concept, which I still like quite a bit. I do think this looks better than the version I just posted.

It would flow better if you kept the columns [at the bottom] of the first draft otherwise I say sweet.

I just hadn't updated the height from the original version. It is changed now.

The texts aren't definitive or anything. I just wrote some blurbs to fill the space.
