Dude, stop calling them "squadrons" and call them "squads" like everybody else does.

Awwwwwwwww. Does that offend you? "Squadron" is what a lot of us called our flying groups back in the old days. Some went with the more polished word "squadrons" and others said "squads". It's no different than any other multiplayer flying game I've played.

Also, SF is actually known as the 81st Marine Division. There is a whole backstory to our group hence why I call it a squadron. If you care (which you probably don't) you might want to check up on SF's history.

To answer your "request", I don't plan on stopping. Tradition is tradition! ;)

Valliance - SPQR was a Squadron, just like every other squad is. Squad is simply a shortened version of Squadron - It's like yelling at someone for saying Tomato different than you do. Does it matter? No, it doesn't.

Thank you very much for explaining to me that squad is a shortened form of squadron, I don't know where I'd be without you Andon :P

And yeah, it doesn't matter how people say it.

Valiance from your post I thought you knew that "squad" was a shortened version of "squadron". I figured you were giving me a hard time about it. My apologies for the tongue in cheek response I gave you.

EDIT:
Forgot the "the"

Actually in SysX squad is not a shortened version of squadron
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Yes in SysX Squad is a slang form of the word Squat.

As in all SysX members are little people.

Example, Spidey:

An unamed short man from SysX was last night quoted as saying that it was a lie that all of the squatron members had to be shorter than their 4' 2" leader to gain membership.

More news as it breaks.
