I like nights idea of a base research to ungalvable bases, it would need to be expensive, but its a great idea

I'm going to assume you mean IC, and maybe it just makes the bases tougher?

Having Ints being able to mount EMP mines would have a similar effect I think

Hm the actual EMP resonator idea was to make it available together with the normal aleph res at a reduced cost: since the animation for res would be the same (and the time too) one wouldn't know if this res was the real thing or the emp thing. Camps would be abandoned briefly and the attacking team would rush in during the destabilization time. Defending teams would have to decide if they shoud stay or go. If they stayed and took the wrong guess... you know what would happen, in any case the lunching team would be able to rush in (EMP was meant to be one sided too) during the turmoil breaking the camp. It was developed to offer a tactical advantage, not a mass genocide option.

I echo the comments about exp not needing to be perked vs small ships.

I agree that exp is, overall, too weak atm, but this is not the area to fix it.

Imo, the only "buff" ints needs vs small ships would be the removal of hvy booster in order to let ints catch figs once again.

As for a small base upgrade, AFAIK, there's still a bug in how base upgrades works and it'd require a core change(The bug would allow a team to build both light and normal giga ops and have 2 op cons out at once).

Give HTT a turreNt?

I've also considered the idea of removing station GAs and replacing them with ungalvable bases.

EDIT: CURSES! My mind haas been read and my idea stoled!

If possible, it should be galv resistant bases, not outright immunity to them.
It would buy the defending team much needed time to stop the run from succeeding, but a well organized and timed galv run should still have a chance to succeed.

Are there any armor type slots that are open for use? The no-nan and dis-resistant shield types aren't used now that Nix was thrown out.
