To reduce drama, this topic should have been called 'Fisherman Wisdom', to just let the individual face up rather than incurring the notice of his squad colleagues.
MW...I would like to see you pick up a bit more of Xason's style, nobility and more importantly restraint. Please consider, or just tell me to $#@! off. I'd go for option 1.
