The point is that TF SRP killer3 would be ADV Tech and be equivalent to standard Killer2.

It just still feels wonky, and I don't know that it would really be necessary. I seriously doubt Lt SFs with SRP Killer 1 would be overpowered, and they don't need a step in between killer 1 and killer 2 any more than Bios needs a step in between minepack 1 and minepack 2.

lt sfs with SRP 1 aren't op at all. SRP 1s aren't very useful in defending vs. nanned bbr runs, and they only help TF kill miners AT the levels of other factions.

The only option I am seeing that is realistic seems to be - give them free SRP. Is there anything else?

Anyway tbh I'm not sure free SRP would even help them that much if someone just decided they need to be taught a bombing lesson 10 minutes in.

Defending with TF bombers is a good idea - I think we need more data on how the average pickup team handles defense with TF Tac + Bombers

I remember a few months ago while playing for Spidey, I asked what was TF Tac like(Hoping I'd get to see it), the general answear was "You don't wanna know!".

I think it needs a perk in order to at least make people want to give it a try.

So, to collect this data you'd basically need someone here to volunteer to comm lots of pick-up games and keep playing TF tac regardless of their team's wishes.

This is where I make my entry :iluv: , save for the "lots of pick-up games" part. As for wishes... I tended to go with them ;)

TF tac is a fine techpath as it is on the provision that you have competent pilots. Okay...

Giving killer 1 away at the start of Tac is a reasonable way to help defend bases, with the bonus effect of getting more people to practice with SRP killer. This also gives TF tac the upper hand against other factions in using tac to defend vs SY.

As for TF tac and bombers, it usually boils down to the use of the bomber/s as inferior GS (which I found to be rather effective even against heavily nanned teams as long as you have lots of gunners) or exclusive use of Sfs to shoot down nans through camping and plasgens. As for the reality, TF bombers being used as defense isn't too common, but often works when it does.

(On a side note, does anyone know how effective SRP killer 1 is against giga light bases?-edit)

TBH, defending with any factions tac takes pilots who know what they are doing, that's why getting tac + GS is not that a bad idea..
Killers are basically glorified dumbfires, so if the bomber pilot has any clue, most wont hit the target.. TF sfs have a better chance concentrating sniper fire and kill nans from long range, which is why I'm more in favor of TF tac getting free sniper 1.

Not very. A single scout can probably out heal 3 sfs firing killer 1.

Their $#@!ing wishes? The commanders job is to $#@!ing command the team - not hold a round table polling session on their teams wishes.

To the others who arent stupid: It is hard to fix TF Tac with so little data - we really need more games with them
