How to get an insanely high score on alleg

I racked up about 900 doing that and tech pickup in a 5 HOUR game! Wow that was intense, we won too! w00t!

Sadly, thoes points dont count towords your overall rank...Do they?

They count towards your level...you need 34000 to get to Level 12, where you unlock "Crisis Blitz" and "He3 Speed".

That's odd. I played in a game today that we resigned immediately after our op con died. I scouted 2 sectors completely, found 2 alephs, and brought home 4 pieces of tech before anyone else and wound up with 18 points. Does this sound right?

According to ICE, "PointsTech" is 5 (and on all cores I checked). Assuming I'm reading it right.
