LOL. I'd be laughing hard on Teamspeak if I heard that. I agree with Adept's statement. If SPQR and BS formally merged, their combined forces would be a challenge to just about any squadron. I've seen an extraordinary amount of improvement since January.sambasti wrote:QUOTE (sambasti @ May 4 2009, 05:07 PM) HOD makes a funny sound. When the game ended, you could hear, for the next minute or so, the game list all the thing that died.
Enemy garrison destroyed
Enemy tactical destroyed
Shipyard destroyed
Miner destroyed
Teleportation reciever destroyed
Enemy teleportation reciever destoyed
Sector lost
ect.

Not to rain on the parade, but a lot of the improvement last game came from old school BS players who have not all played in the same game like that since the last solar eclipse.
Not that the rest of the group wasn't good, but if BS shows all of those players consistently they can be instantly capable of winning squad games on a weekly basis, SPQR merger or not.

A merger is highly unlikely. Kram is pulling his guys together just as much as BS. This alliance has helped both squads to get player attendence up and recruiting rolling. SPQR has gained valuable experience as well as BS's newer players
We look forward to playing SPQR in future games
