I am a noob (as anyone that has seen me in a game can tell you :P ) I wouold just like to point out to all other nooobs out there that this game cannot be learned in just a few courses yes they help with some of the basics but the sheer amount of info that you need to know makes it so that only exp in the game will allow you to really learn all lthe ins and out s of the game. From my exp so far the game can change dynamicaly from one moment to the next. Experience can only be your guide when the unexpected happens. I think that anyone who is imaptient to get started learning the game and have read all the CDT 1&2 material. Then you should go back and start memorizing it, scan ranges what wepons are best vrs differnt situations ect. If you want to do something to get better at teh game then start your own game and practice swithvching weapons and changeing your ship sig on the fly I have noticed that the good pilots are the ones that have the right weapon at the right time and then can hide quick enough to get away without a long pod ride home.
Well I have ranted long enough...
No just one more thing
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to help us poor noobs to get a little better. I know it must get old answering the same questions over and over again. You all deserve alot of respect and gratitude and you have mine.

A session of Cadet II has just started. I *think* a Cadet I session is planned to start this week. You should be included. (I can't speak authoritatively, since it's not up to me, but that's my guess.)

I was asked several times in game if I had completed this program already, most people were kinda like 'wtf you didnt and you are playing like this??'

I fear by the time a new Cadet I program begins I will have far surpassed the training offered therein, but I am enrolled nonetheless. Perhaps there will be a few tidbits for me to pick up on.

I'm probably ready for Cadet II, but I need to memorize the tech trees and faction strengths/styles before going to command school (even though I have commanded a few games already, sortof :P )

This game does have a bit of a learning curve all the way through commanding, but my first-hand experience is teaching me well.

I will excuse the bluntness of the question, due to the fact that you are right, it is late. This is due to RL circumstances beyond my control. I will set the next session up tomorrow.
