I'm 47 $#@!ing years old. Popular music ceased to be interesting around 1982 (with some exceptions).

There's a good Buckethead collection floating around the torrent networks. And this stuff is so cool. I am in the process of gettting myself involved with music composition once again, and ANY help with that is great. What's good to keeps to a more atmospheric side of life?
Also look up The Megadrives, they are a great trio that played a concert I organized around Thanksgiving. Well it kinda organized itself oddly. They played a KICKASS 8-bit set with rips from video games, both for tunes and visuals!
EDIT The only reason I am not that proficient is that I fell out of practice due to stress from my last job, well more like the people I had to deal with at that job. Now I only deal with one person, and he is more than enough!

Yeah I heard the first two and they're definitely not my style (when it comes to club beats at least)
Then I saw you posted a House Mix and I grabbed it, but... that's what you call house?
Either my perception of house is wrong, or yours is. That was pretty much the same as your first two
Either way - what thajes said. Music is life.

OK so here ya go, a true dance mix with house and trance and electronic and maybe even some d&b.(no hiphop or top 40 in this one) i mixed this at about midnight in the headphones so as not to wake the wife and kids but it still came out prettty good ---->

If it's not Chi-town House I'm not listening to it.
End of story.
