Give Plas Gens more range

I don't want to give TF a win button. But 200 range makes them almost worthless and prox is better in almost every situation.

Ok, forget hvy plas gen.

What if range was increased + damage was decreased for normal plas gen? I could live with less damage, I'd just like to see them doing something.

Each gun or tower in alleg has a particular projectile they fire.
Plas Gens shoot area of effect projectiles. I guess you could say they're like SC but very short range.

They are NOT worthless, Plas1 is crap compared to Prox1 but Plas 2 and 3 are much better than Prox 2 and 3 in terms of effectiveness. MUCH BETTAH. It scales, TF is weak at the start and strong at the end.

Exactly.

Plasgen 3 lasts a really long time, 21 seconds approximately, and benefit from PW range.

Not in comparison to how much better Plas3 is better than Plas1.

Crono your talking Buls^%&*^ again plasma 3 dosent even compare to prox 3 , if u run into a prox 3 at 200 mps u get vaporized and plasma gen 3 wil only scrape some hull
The way i see it best is bring back the Proxy explosive , give them equivalent range to their prox counterparts and make the damage radial based (the closer u are to the core the more damage u get and vice versa )

The weapons are fundamentally different: you're comparing apples to oranges. Prox work best when opponents are moving quickly. Plasgens work best when they're moving slowly and/or staying in the same area. There's plenty of good uses for both.
