I've come up with some new ideas :D .

Regarding the ships wrecks, mainly about smaller craft, but also posibly for capships, i've thought that the "health bar" may measure the state of the ship's systems instead of hull integrity. This would mean that when your health bar is down to zero, your ship just stop working and you are now in a dead wreckage floating around....then you have to eject on a pod (same thing as ejecting from turrets) and head home. Also, if for some reason they just keep shooting at your ship, the wreck could explode and you die there if you don't eject before :D .

This thing would be amazing when talking about stealing ship tech. It could be possible to do that if you eject before health bar is zero (so your ship systems are still working) your ship destroys itself so the other team can't pick the tech :D . Also it would make the game far more realistic.

That could also apply to bases. If a base take too much damage it could remain unable to be used and then become a wreck base. Any team should then send a repair team on some kind of transport to dock the base and repair the systems, just like building a new one but cheaper :D .

Regarding the things to do with wrecks, if already said the thing about bases. A possible same thing could be done to capships, since they are big ships and a repair team could fit in there and repair it from inside. Smaller ships should be brought home by some kind of drone, since they cant be repaired on flight (there's no room to fit anything but a pilot!!!). That would do battles really more fun, since you can send a repair craft to take over a dead enemy capship, or maybe you'll have to defend a pick up drone while it takes the dead ship to base to steal the tech.
