If you had only posted in the correct sub-forum, half of the flames you are getting now would be negated.

GS price was changed for Community Core and community core only. DN, RPS, A+, GoD, VoS, and EoR are the same as they were previously. If you have a complaint about changes to Community Core, I'd suggest mentioning it in thier forum instead of doing a blanket post in gameplay.

Might I also add, if he creates a thread about gunships costing 250 in the CC forums it will be deleted quicker than you can say boo. Also, dont pan him off on us /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I don't care if you've been playing since R3. Technically R4 isn't that old, so that would still make you a clueless noob. You don't know what you're talking about, you're basing your opinions on how YOU would handle commanding Bios, and you have no merit behind any statement you say. Quit while you're ahead before people actually DO get pissed off enough to a point where you will have the moderators combing every word that you say, most of which will be rejected for the obvious reason of stupidity.

I was in a game last night where our side bought gs as bios. Didn't really seem to make that much difference although I don't think we ever had more than 2 out at a time. I personally think gs costing 500 is a good idea, but I understand that the cc team wants to make gradual changes so 250 is a good start.

wait im confused, how do u partial? i thought partialling was buying tech when u dont have enough to buy it so u buy a little of each tech at a time.

I find this update to be absolutely abhorable, as it nerfs gunships into oblivion.

With every $500 payday now, you can only buy two gunships. Assuming anyone bothers to get them, which no one does, as they suck.

BUT BEFORE, we could buy 500 gunships with that same payday, and that is the only viable tactic with gunships, as they are entirely useless otherwise.

Yeah, teamwork is cheating face the facts!

A GS with two Skycap (uber with their doubled particle speed - they hit at max range) turrets and two nans is near invincible against starting and some enhanced techs.

Please don't spout nonsense after having not played for God knows how long.

Gunships used to be weak effeminate pieces of dog @#(!. Then noir heard the wishes of the majority and beefed them up to the awesomeness that they are today. In times past, gunships couldn't mount skycap, couldn't drop mines, and couldn't mount lt boosters. Today they're $#@!ing rox prox machines that kick ass and chew bubble gun. Only they're all out of gum.

However the common practice of spamming gunships has unfortunately led to the need to curtail the numbers a tad bit to make the gunship paradigm a bit more balanced. In any event, things will be better this way as instead of having umpteen gunships spreading out all over hell you'll be restricted to 2 or 3 gunships which can then be supported and defended by nans and such. And you won't see people suiciding them against miners as much. This is the way it is meant to be™.
