What happens if you ram the con into the rock? Does it take damage or build?

it builds.
I loose my motivation to help out more and more each day to drama like this. Which is why I am mostly /meh on this point. I will continue to play as I always have, with the morals I have been rasied with and if this community finds they don't like myself and others like me who just enjoy playing the game with their friends on TS or squadies, then they can ban us and my Warhammer account, Girlfriend, and IRL activities will get a lot more attention and will thank them.

This is why allegiance players suck. They try to effect the outcome of a game with skilless tactics like this and others.

I thought it only builds if it's already lined up and going. If you ram it in before it's set to plant, doesn't it damage the con?

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Learn to expect a con so you can get there. that way, we don't have to ram ourselves to death fruitlessly all the time...

So what if you manage to ram it into a rock other than its intended target? Can you force a con to build somewhere else?

Nope.

Well actually, I can't say that with certainty because as far as I know, no one has manage to ram a con from it's intended rock to another rock. But I highly doubt it would work.

What we need are some freighters, and some nice light Bios cons...

Yeah i agree with that , coz i am one of them /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
ImmortalZ wrote:QUOTE (ImmortalZ @ Jun 10 2008, 09:00 AM) You forget the fact that cons have massive scan ranges and will see the probe.
No in his case he planted the probe while the con was in route , But yeah if he did it long before the cons come close to teh rock then probably the cons will move away of it /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> i donno what its AI might think of.
theTroy wrote:QUOTE (theTroy @ Jun 10 2008, 10:54 AM) It will not be inside, or unlikely to. A nice way to delay a lonely con, or a lonely techcon if you have enough people to keep the ints occupaied and just need those few more seconds of a delay.
Yeah thats what i would do .
Adaven wrote:QUOTE (Adaven @ Jun 10 2008, 09:54 PM) I'm not sure you can get probes close enough to the rock for that to work anymore.
but i guess it worked with him on the point where the cons was preparing to plant.
