Why is it so important to you. If the leaderboard is not a true measure of skill in everyones opinion why do you get upset about Ascalons rank, or his skill? Does it affect you somehow? Are you sad that AArm was replaced by him?
He is now 19th. Wether he lowered his rank on purpose or not does not matter. But if he did it was probaly to get people like you off his ass. There are players within alleg who join a game to play. They dont look at factions or coms they just take the 1st slot and play. They dont sit in NOAT and talk on TS for hours discussing how bad this com is or how that player sucks. They dont yell, bitch or moan. They simply play a game that we all love.
And since I dont know who you are on the leader board I couldnt check your stats. So tell me who you are so I can look.

1) i think the drop of rank proves an intentional manipulation (i'm not full of @#(!)
2) i haven't played lately because i've been busy studying, among other things (my rank is between 12 and 15, i can't remember, but it was pure antistacking power.)
3) it is important to me (and to you too) if ranks are borked because that makes for worse gameplay for all of us. exploiting the ranking system serves no purpose other than personal gratification (orly? if you are gratified by a high helo number you can kindly die). What does aarm have to do with it? he certainly deserves the rank.
4) he never 'joined the game on the first slot and played'. he always joined the team that was going to win, now he always joins the team that is going to lose

I still have to say you are wrong. As a good example I've played in two pickpool games, and Ascalon gave the idea at both times. Even teams, and he helped make them even from the ground up. I can also assure you that he plays to win.
You just don't seem to believe a person can mend his ways. I'm telling you he has. Don't be vindicative. Let him be in peace and play. He only needs to wing 50% of the games like a regular person, and his helo will drop for a long time. His helo dropping only proves he's not relentlessly stacking anymore, not that he's deliberately losing games.
