Good night, and good luck.
I know how you feel. I was diagnosed with crohns 7 years ago. sitting in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks is no fun, but let me tell you its not the end of the world. It may seem rocky at times, but when you're stuck at home feeling like @#(! i guarentee you there is nothing better to do than hop on and yell at people. I would suggest commanding lots. The doctors and info you get at first is a bit overwhelming and depressing, but they exagurate. Once you go into remission you will wonder what you ever worried about. Ask about remicade, and dont pussy out on us =)

Good luck Monk. I feel your pain. I've been dealing with similar symptoms since late January, but they are starting to subside a bit. I took my first brown crap this morning, they've been black for 11 days now...
Gonna miss ya buddy.

Sorry to hear hat MONK. I have had chrones since i was 25 and am now 36. It took almost 6 months fpr them to realize my chrones as well and I have had my share of problems too. As a matter of fact i was just in the hosp last week for a bad flare up but you do loearn to live with it as best as possible. Good luck and let me know if u need any advice!Monkage wrote:QUOTE (Monkage @ Mar 16 2008, 12:49 AM) I've been away for a while.
I'm still alive, but unfortunately I am no longer able to fly.
After dealing with a "mystery illness" for going on 4 months I've finally been correctly diagnosed with crohn's disease and am on the mend. In order to avoid further surgery, however, I've been instructed to avoid all stress, which means I'm going to have to hang up my wings and say goodbye.
It sucks, but that's life I guess.
anyway, thanks for the good times.

You cannot play God and then wash your hands of the things that you've created. Sooner or later, the day comes when you can't hide from the things that you've done anymore! You can continue as a coward, hiding! or STAND AND FIGHT THAT WICH YOU HAVE CREATED!!!!!!
