That would be a no vote. I could give you a lesson in finding the "n" key.

madpeople wrote:QUOTE (madpeople @ Feb 29 2008, 06:10 AM) abstain is used for allowing you extra time to kill the miner before your team gives up
It also gives you time to get back in base, as ELO will give you and extra eject if you are out of base when the team resigns.

does this mean you support an unknown over a questionable comm? that makes a lot of sense.

It means that when you abstain you are just voting no but really slowly. So yes you are supporting your questionable comm if you abstain a mutiny. (Even though in history of mutiny's abstaineres were considered mutineers by loyalists and loylasists by mutineers so they get $#@!ed pretty quick)

I just though about it, why don't we just make resigns works with a simple majority of voters + 50% of the team has to vote.

Vly... that basically is the case at the moment.

More than 50% of the total team has to vote yes, or it doesn't pass. That's the point, people who abstein are either incapable of using their keyboards whilst flying, and thus should be beaten with a nail filled stick; or are sneakilly doing something else in the time taken - in which case they may as well vote no, and then call another vote once they're done.

It'd be funny if Allegiance just auto booted anybody who doesn't vote. I'd vote for that...

I'm against any and all forms of autobooting.

Except maybe ASGS's and @Alleg's.

abstain should not count towards the total
it should be "Yes's Against No's"

instead of Yes's against total
