RIx have the best sbs period, especially with the exp range, damage, and sig ups. I have never seen any other faction's sb solo a techbase. As for shooting the pods, of course you can. however, anyone with a clue will camp alephs against sbs, not stations

wtf? against rix 2-3 base campers can totally stop the base destruction and allow teammates to launch and D

i'm gonna go with $#@!ing Belter SB's, the stealth nanning is cool but the best thing is booster 3 ab3 sbs who zoom past the base fast enough to get 2 missiles off and outrun sfs/figs/slow defenders trying to kill it

Ozzy and I once almost solo'ed an IC Sup with a Belt SB and me nanning in a Belt SF even with half the enemy team hanging around the base.

But hardly anyone nans Belters SBs anyway.

I voted Rix of course, because while there is a possibility of solo'ing a techbase with a Rix SB, there is no possibility of solo'ing a techbase with any other SB given the same situation as you're facing in your Rix SB.

Also you need Adv Exp for the proper GAs, and Adv Exp also means Hvy Ints. Enough SAID!

I voted Dreg over Rix.

With Rix, if you have a team that is camping bases constantly for Station Drones and have someone nanning at all times, then that method is pretty much done for. Sure a Rix SB can stay uneyed while bombing, but that's only if the base is uncamped and they have Sig 3 (I think).

With Dreg, not only do you have missle perks, but those $#@!ers are fast. I'd rather take speed on a SB more than sig actually, because I can always manipulate my sig by lowering shields/missiles. I've seen OPs downed by a solo Dreg SB with one rack. I've seen tech bases go down in two racks. It's easy to solo SB w/ Dreg, and it actually makes a game worthwhile.

Now if cost and research time was factored in as well, then Rix hands down.

gotta go with Rix. They, like TF, don't need to go into a seperate techpath in order to get a higher damage output AB weapon. Also if done right, you can have a base dead before anyone hears the "station at risk" warning. Nothing sucks more then hearing "XYZbase is under attack" but not getting a warning of which it is till its already down to half hull.

Rix.

Yeah you can solo stuff. Maybe you can't solo techs when the enemy wises up, but with full tac and 3 smart sbs no base has a chance. Second place belters, because until you have closed on a base at 120mps, you haven't really stealth bombed.

rix sbs for sure. sure u can have people camp for it, but thats like saying camp the alephs against sbs, camp the doors against htts. sure it can work, but then it just zones ur team into defence defence defence and u've lost anyway.

and as said earlier, 3 smart rix sbs will down any techbase, even with campers. camping pretty much works against solo rix sbs, but considering most other factions need around 4 sbs to kill a techbase...
