May technic works better than ramming... /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I'll be damned. Didn't know. Thought it would help me get to top speed quicker.
Tried it again, with the suggestion to hit a powerup when the last fuel cell runs dry. Got up to 606mps (where the theoretical max is 621mps).

Try going through an aleph as you hit 606, it can give you about a 10-20mps "boost".

No it doesn't.
I just had a look in ICE - It gives you 1.1 Accelleration, but 1 to everything else, meaning it only changes your accell.

Maybe it deccellerates (sp?) you quickly as well after running out of fuel, so instead of starting the next bottle at 220 mps you start it at 190 mps.

try holding the 8 key on the num pad as your boost is ending, and keep holding it till the new boost kicks in, keeps your speed much longer (well actually, makes it decrease much slower), that should do it

Since noone mentioned that yet, here's something to keep you busy for a while:
If you time the booster reload for the*exact* moment you go through an aleph, you get a 5s (reload time) of free boost! That should help you push the top speed about 40mps higher (rise instead of drop in speed + the aleph boost).
