I'd say Bios is far deadlier than nix.

The key to beating nix is that they need money. Lots of it. It was intended to eat up money. If you kill their miners early on and keep pressing them, they'll never get off the ground. Bios OTOH, can payday their wait to winning, which is why they're harder to beat.

So if some newb comm goes nix on you, just go Tac or EXP and kill his miners. Don't bother trying to beat nix at it's own game.

Gee... how can someone play this game for 6 years and never once notice pulse probes?

Agreed.

Have a close look at Nix economy and stop commanding vs newbie coms MrK! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Just have someone go start a CTF and crash the server.

Stacks are beatable, depends how big it is, eg a top commander and a top team vs. a decent commander and a collection of vets & noobs... that's beatable (sometimes). MasterXchief vs 25 pilots.... that's NOT beatable /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I said stack is unstoppable, not unbeatable.

Okay maybe it is a tad cheesier (but only a little /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />). Unless you kill all their miners/cons and box them within the first 10-13 minutes they become almost impossible to beat. Once you failed to prevent them from mining like 3 sectors: they can get UppedGarr » GS » HvyScouts » a Techbase (lets say Sup with ac2) and of course the feared Transc. After that all they need is 2-3 additional miner loads and you will face vanguards + random stuff like AssltStarbases/Drones..

I would not worry about the Nix HTT. I would be more worried about the fact that it can rip to the AssltBase they pushed with joy 1k next to your IC AdvExp without IC being able to stop it.

ps: If you want to kill AssltBases rush galv. If you want to kill a transc.. well unfortunatly that's only possible with xrm2/lrm.
Well, thats true and the reason why I never command phoenix, I think it's a better faction compared to the others, about the 10-13 minutes thing to do, thats really hard to do in PU games, where not all people listen.

In fact, I remember some games I've commanded against phoenix and we've killed like 3 of their miners early game, and they STILL managed to get uber stuff, more than we did even when we didn't lose miners, so yea, phoenix is lame in my opinion.

phoenix economy is extremely well balanced. It's the trans/bombers aspect that is harder to balance imo.
Classifiable up to Trolleomorphism.

Not to sure I agree with this
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday
