You suddenly realize your the only friendly in sector not flying in an egg home in low structure. You hit b to select nearest base and boost towards the alph to get the hell out, and even manage to make it out alive with a nice kb. Pick up your team and go in again for some more shooty shooty.

So what is this mythical "recruitment" that is spoken of? Or am i that bad? Not that I've really met anyone here in the last year, but I don't know anyone that have been "recruited".

I believe it was Deschain's first SG. Me and him were the only nans on the bombrun we snuck onto their exp while the rest of the team kept them occupied elsewhere.

Oh, and I couldn't sleep that night till 6AM.
This, even up to this day, was the best Allegiance has ever made me feel.

Combat pickups.

Rolling into the enemy's techsector with a capship before they know you have a shipyard.

Being in a turret on a duel-belts bomb run, when both bombers are boosting toward the target.

Flying a hvyint, and running out of ammo while intercepting a bomb run, saying "screw it" and boosting into the bbr at full thrust.

Flying into their mining sector through one aleph, killing two miners, and zipping back out through another exit before they know what hit them.

Escorting a con behind a bomb run, because you're flying through a cloud of friendly mines dropped by the bbr's nans and nothing can touch you.

Pushing an op all the way across the map and killing everything in the way.

and pretty much everything that involves well-executed teamwork.

combat pickups - when at least 5 pilots, or more than 50% of the team is podded, and the enemy is pushing the advantage, so you take int or fig, take as many fuel as you can, and go to the rescue. boosting through the warzone and screaming at pods to turn off AP, taking hits, picking the last one and boosting through aleph with just spittle holding your hull together.

participating in a nicely coordinated SB run

nanning a pushed con

btw, i tought boosting in the bbr was standard procedure /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I had a rush two weeks ago, just felt kinda nice sitting in the enemies home, with eight other ints around, after killing a full miner.

Last time before that was comming belts, and yelling at my team "Those four miners get us Cruisers when they offload. For the love of god, defend them." And watching them roll in, and order the miners out, about one minute before the enemy bombs the sector.
