which one? There's now at least 4 custom voice packs out there, and it isn't clear that they are all compatible.
But see, I don't want to see this in my chat:Aeris wrote:QUOTE (Aeris @ Jul 21 2007, 03:45 PM) It's a good stopgap measure, but I'de really like to see sending of text with the vcID. Maybe with a toggle in options to switch non-standard VCs on or off.
Maybe we'll save that one for R5 /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Some of us really, really don't care what the pack contains.WhiskeyGhost wrote:QUOTE (WhiskeyGhost @ Jul 21 2007, 04:29 PM) i may be releasing a VC pack (and even have a few personal ones for my use only), but i can see how this is useful.
Not everyone has the same definition of 'fun'. For me, seeing Quagmire say "Giggity giggity giggity giggity." on Family Guy is fun. Hearing it 40 times an hour in Allegiance is not fun.fuzzylunkin1 wrote:QUOTE (fuzzylunkin1 @ Jul 21 2007, 06:12 PM) They are all compatible. Just use them in the right order, I believe. I don't see whats so annoying about having fun either . . . suit yourselves.
Yeah problem is for some reason no one wants to support this stuff. My opinion is we should have a group like for the community core project working on a community quick chat project. They would put together important chats that are lacking right now and make them official. Then the new MDL's would be pushed out. You could push out a few "official" variations and have them be pushed out along with the default pack. They could be selectable in game along with a "custom" option that allows you to manually add your own pack that will never be overwritten.juckto wrote:QUOTE (juckto @ Jul 21 2007, 11:14 PM) Hey, I tried.
