I'm perfectly happy with the way Alleg is now... I see no reason to pay money for it in a different incarnation.

I'd play Allegiance 2.0 on any platform!

The wife will love it. Does xbox live really cost 50 bucks a month, jesus people pay that? Thats like 10 lap dances from the hot girls or 50 lap dances from Orion.
I hate to say it, but i actually agree with elephanthead on this one....

No it doesn't cost 50 bucks a month that's a blanket fee for 6 months I do believe.

I think its a year not 6 months unless that was just a special deal
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Here: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/live/membershipcards.htm

Its £15 (GBP 15) for 3 months and £40 (GBP 40) for 12 months.

Prices probably vary but I've converted the currencies here:

GBP 15.00 = EUR 22.17 = USD 29.60 = CAD 34.23 = SKK 742.05 = AUD 36.38 = DKK 165.24 = SEK 206.95

GBP 40.00 = EUR 59.11 = USD 78.93 = CAD 91.28 = SKK 1978.81 = AUD 97.03 = DKK 440.64 = SEK 551.87

I'm getting nightmares about the noob influx already.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Seriously. This is the exact reason that I REALLY hope Allegiance never gets "mainstreamed." I want newbies, but I don't want THAT many newbies. My favorite aspect of Allegiance and the community is that it's small and that people actually know me.

Bacon,

the longer I am here, the more I agree with your statement.
