Good Idea, or maybe it could be included with the activation e-mail?

i dont believe admins re-set ranks - they have stated that they don't do this.

they do un-link accounts though.

G* has a similar idea to mine, except mine was an asgs message.

both are good, use all of them /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

PM is a good idea. Activation e-mail is bad idea, as noone reads them, ppl just click the link, as they are dying to play now now now.

I have taken Gstar's post and passed it on to Pook. We are brainstorming a way to implement it. Good idea!

I have suggested an additonal Icon that is loaded on the desktop by the installer.

Give us a little time on this.

more desktop icons?

when people install something they dont expect to get along with the main link
training
academy
new link too

training link could perhaps be put in asgs, basically when asgs is in "training mode", it just launches allegiance, doesn't bother with any of the stuff it usually does.

all the additional links can go in the allegiance directory though /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

at the end of the install, have the checkbox "view readme", have another "view hints and tips" which can contain useful stuff, or just a link to a page with stuff we want people to know on, people might want to see hints and tips...

The training link has gone as training works via the normal Alleg link. However, I'd be against adding an icon to the desktop simply because I know how much it annoys me when programs do that (especially if they don't ask, can't remember where Alleg stands on that though).
