that makes it easier to talk about different environments because you don't know the number in game, and often don't look at the bmp.mdl to see which one is which

not sure if i've ever seen all of them in game, perhaps allegiance only uses a subset? i dunno.

Doah. I should have thought of this when I was making them.
The posters(and environments for that matter, but you don't notice it there) have black set as transparent, so you don't see a big ugly black square behind the planet blocking out the environment. Works fine on a nice bright image, but some of the posters have black in the part that should be visible.
Two solutions come to mind, either change all the black not in the background to a slightly lighter colour, or change the colour Allegiance makes transparent. The latter is probably not worth the headache.. and would mean I'd have to change all the posters..forget I mentioned it. Way too much work for no better result, considering most monitors these days don't show the difference between #000000 and #010101 anyways.
