Along w/ what grimm said, "mostly probes" does not mean "all probes".
Also, never missing a miner w/ tf guns is tricky, but not unreasonable, just don't start firing until you are right on top of the the thing. Non-tf scouts can do this just as well (maybe need to get a little closer), except for slip ups when the miner tries to dodge the missles.

I assume you mean that sheild regen is not calculated?guitarism wrote:QUOTE (guitarism @ Nov 20 2006, 03:34 PM) right, and when was the last time you went miner hunting as TF mp? realisticly, your not gonna ever get 100% accuracy uninterupted. This is the problem with TEK, statistics and number. It doesnt actually work like it says it should.
Beyond the clock tower.
as far as I can recall shields aren't generated when you're under constant fire, same for miners. Regardless, you should always carry an extra set of ammo with you when you're in a TF scout at the start of a game, as it's usually the difference between a dead op/tp/miner, and one that lives
We've upped our standards. Up yours.
Yes I mean shield regen. And shields do regenerate while being fired upon. The thing with TF vs other scouts, is that the ammo just gets eaten so quickly. Not to mention that your probably going to have to pod at least one person that comes at you in a scout, so one rack of ammo wouldn't be enough, even with 100% accuracy, which doesn't happen...

TF scouts do not eat ammo any faster than normal scouts. They have the same ammo capacity, fire twice as many bullets, but use half as much ammo per shot.guitarism wrote:QUOTE (guitarism @ Nov 22 2006, 07:46 PM) Yes I mean shield regen.
