FYI, one of them was so damn good, and you have no idea how right on it was.

I am a retired United States Soccer Federation referee. At the peak of my career I worked with FIFA ref's at the national (& two awesome International's) level. I had been lucky to see some of my games televised as the "center". When it doubt, refer to Law 5, FIFA /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> I have always operated under the FIFA principle. There were Laws, not rules. Open to interpertation by the referee using the "spirit of the game".
