lol immortal, did it suddenly worry you when i was changing before your eyes?

I think the spacing has to do with how big your sig space is compared to how much you wrote in the box, so if the actualy text is < total empty space then sig = moves up to fill the void.

this

is

a test

to
confirm
a

spacing
theory

EDIT- yep i was right

First I thought it was Pook's doing. Then when the additional line appeared on your sig, I knew you were editing it /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I'll look at the template to see if I can force the sig to the bottom a little later.

He only posted a little bit, so his sig falls after his post... but the post "cell" is larger than his actual post.
Oh, so longer sigs are better now? /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

I also miss the old smiles. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

I think the non-resetted post counts are playing havoc with the formula there.

EDIT : Oh crap! You broke it!!!

EDIT 2 : `yp /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

EDIT 3 : Yes, I have nothing else to do /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

Is there an edit button time limit? I like to contiunously edit the first post in my faction development thread and a time limit on edits really hinders that. No edits will also make much more clutter.

That's correct. I did however just remove the edit time restriction.
