Addendum to previous post:

While playing against TF today, I noticed that I couldn't see the shots from the TF bomber's AB cannon.

[Problem solved]

I forgot I had to install allegiance on c:\, not on my normal gaming partition.
Do I still need to do taht or can I move it back to my games-partition?

Actually, I did. But, for it to work, it will require the involvement of the core dev teams.

Any ship whose stats are zero by default (e.g. ints have zero energy, pods have zero ammo and fuel) will make those stats appear as a streak.

If the core dev teams changed those zero stats to 1, the streaks will disappear.

Tried and experimented with the theory by modding the static_core.igc on my PC, works for me.

The streak really is a bug of the bar drawing function, which should just draw nothing if the percentage parameter is below zero. This should be an easy fix.

I think this issue is already fixed at R5.

Hehe, I was just going to refer you to Parci, guess he was faster. :)

If you want to know more, CortUI changeset [65] is probably related. It's a commit on CortUI ticket #4, which also has some links to corresponding forum threads.

Not entirely sure that's related, but it sounds a hell of a lot like it is.

Works perfectly for me aside from the known issues.

Runs on windows XP 64 with the latest drivers from nvidia. 8800 gts.

With cortUI installed the client crashes if the mouse pointer is moved over the station status display in the hangar, F3 and Loadout screen. It is in the top left corner. It might explain some of the crashes people have reported.

Interesting observation. Maybe that's the puzzle piece we were missing.

*removes some part of his post* I was just going to ask you to post it on the corresponding CortUI ticket, but you already did. Awesome. :iluv:
