Is there no legal way to remove a president from the office if he is doing a (legal) bad job?

Yes. Impeachement, which requires a vote by both houses, or the 25th amendment, which requires the rest of the executive branch to declare that the president is medically unfit.
QUOTE Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.[/quote]

There is not a recall method.

Impeachment is specifically for "high crimes and misdemeanors." The 25th amendment specifically is designed when the president is
incapable of discharging his duties.
Technically either of those could be abused politically to get rid of an oderous president (Bill Clinton's "crime" was saying "I did not have sex with that woman." If Clinton had actually just said, "Yup, we did it in the whitehouse" he would not have been impeached), but in practice the system is designed so that it won't be.

When
a past head of the FBI calls Trump a Kremlin asset, you do have to wonder how long it is before a trial for high treason.
