If by a lot you mean once every two weeks, then I drink tons.
No, I'm just a serious and fun hating individual, who, given the choice would probably annihilate humanity in order to resurrect his long lost love, Gendo-style.
EDIT: It's 4:47am right now and my Home of the Underdogs torrent stopped $#@!ing downloading so I just wasted about six hours of sleep. I'm pissed.
So admins ban stackers now?

Most 3 hour slug fests I've seen have involved actual slugs.takingarms1 wrote:QUOTE (takingarms1 @ Mar 24 2008, 10:08 AM) Are you kidding? There's nothing better than a 3 hour slug fest, unless of course the only reason it's a 3 hour slug fest is because both sides are increadibly inept at utilizing game ending tech. Those are just bozo annoying.

No, im not saying that. Spidey vs Aarm games are in no way easy, but they are quite fun. Im talking about 90% of games where its JoeMcAverage Commander vs someone who is a bit better. To play for the lesser skilled commander generally insures a less competent team. Wheras in Spidey vs Aarm games, the vets and noobs tend to work together better because they are both good commanders good at getting everyone to work well.Ksero wrote:QUOTE (Ksero @ Mar 23 2008, 11:30 PM) So if the teams are more even, you actually have to focus? Use your brain? Strain yourself? You want to have an easier time? You want to join the stacked team so you can sit back and relax? Essentially, you want to play Allegiance on "easy" difficulty? So you don't have to think too much? It's just too bad that not everyone can join the stacked team. Maybe we should start using imbal N/A, and play one player vs world? Then the world will have a real easy time. And only a single player will have to "anti-stack". We can take turns.
If there are vets who won't play Allegiance if they can't stack, and we somehow stop stacking... Then yeah, those vets might leave, and game quality might temporarily dip. Eventually, newbies become vets, we'll fill the space of those vets that left and we'll have as competent players as before. But we won't have any more stacking.
BUT, like i said those games are not common. And half the time the average commander buys stupid things or attempts some asinine tactic that is bound to not work. As a result, many a vet will put them on a do not fly for list and their teams will get increasingly bad.
And to address your second point, if you get rid of all the top dogfighters, its going to take a long time for anyone to achieve their skills because they will run out of competition much earlier on... which drastically increases the time it takes to get better (playing against people who suck does nothing to help your aim).
I still say stacking is the responsibility of the commander and it is the commanders responsibility to ensure that they are at least somewhat equivelant in skills (now if no one wants to command, then a terribly unbalanced game is unavoidable and excusable IN THAT ONLY instance IMO)

Joesph1 is a 15. Maybe someone that has come back just recently, or perhaps a name to hide the identify of someone. If it is the first, that's one hell of a "welcome back". 12 weeks 6 days, that account hasn't logged in since.
