I was actually just remarking to earlier points in this thread about ban cancer and ban obesity but it's explainable that in colder climates more cigarettes are smoked, although lots of US smokers have to do with all the advertising even if it's not there so much anymore.

Needing and wanting are to different things. You can have guns right were you are now DW and if you don't own them already I can't imagine how you can feel safe over there. After all the last time I spent the day in London the local Police were carrying assault rifles protecting Heathrow from yet another attack and tourist were beaten in the streets for wearing the wrong shirt. Shockingly violent for a sheltered city kid from the US.

English is a euphemism for knocking up chubby, alcoholic teenagers girls ;) . Don't you worry HSharp your subjects are doing everything to be mumber one. Adult obesity rates have almost quadrupled in the last 25 years, with 22% of Britons now obese.[3] If they keep it up I'm sure you will all be celebrating be first with some of that world famous English cooking very soon... although with a cancer rate of 42% and accelerating it looks like you'll could be celebrating a twofer.

I have been online shopping for rifle scopes, and as I havent shopped online for any gun related products for ever, this sort of stuff has really concerned me.

After the initial chuckle and novelty, you start to get past this.

Firearms are serious business. From a young boy i was absolutely FLOGGED if i didnt secure weapons and ammo, left the breach open in transit, placed the gun on the ground when going through fences, and never talking about them in public. Guns were boring deliberately to not catch the interest of loonatics.

Now all this new marketing is scary. Its helping to brand responsible gun owners as retards, and making owning a gun that little more attractive to people who have no reason in the $#@!ing world to own one.

Worse still, it reputable manufacturers who are getting on the bandwagon as well. Nice going *#$@heads!

I have no reason to own a firearm other than I like shooting trap.

Is that a legitimate reason?

What defines a good reason?

The zombie crap is so pervasive in our society, I am quite sick of it. AFAIK the zombie ammo is just hollow point ammo. Its also expensive as heck!

But whatever makes a buck these days I guess... :glare:

I think Obama has been the best president for gun sales since FDR.
