what would have been helpful was to do what was asked at least six seperate times in the thread. Also Brood if your always joking it is kind of hard to know when you are being serious.

edit: pm sent to Brood since I believe he was being sincere

@ Bard
Also there is nothing on the server other then the bits and pieces for playing Allegiance. It is used for no other activity and will never be used for anything else. I believe what bard thinks is the machine Im hosting is a VM. It is not. The box is mine and mine alone.

On further read and a gentle *ding* of the clue bell from Brood I believe I misundestood Bard, forgot that he does have a clue, and thanks that does make sense. The guts have been $#@!ed with a number of times including "a new motherboard", upgrades to the network card, the ram, and a physical move to a new location. All seemed to cause some improvement to the origional issue between the one troublesome router and some of the European players some to a lesser degree. After logging on last night I noticed that we are getting spikes on CPU usage to 100%, and this should not be given game being played and the number of players.

It is not useful to post any trace route here since the provider is looking at the EMAIL ADDY ONLY. I encouraged this given the level of drama that is now going on in this thread. We look like a bunch of wear our pants on our head retards with some of these posts and are losing credibility with them.

SO PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR ON TOP READ THE DETAILS OF WHAT TO DO. IF YOU $#@!ED UP AND POSTED A TRACE ROUTE TAKE THE TIME TO USE THE COPY AND PASTE FUNCTION AND SEND IT TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS. I BELIEVE IT HELPS OUR CASE THAT IT'S A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

Thanks
MrChaos

Im hesitant to do this but:

They are going to give me a report tomorrow and I believe they are going to replace the bulking router that is giving those with issues fits in Europe. So hold onto to your seats maybe the bitching, and complaining actual did something, and rest assured I will never do it this way again

One or more of HopOne's core routers looks to be overloaded. Either their equipment can't handle the traffic very well, their bandwidth pipe is too small, or they don't have very many peering agreements. There are a few other possibilities, but those are the three that come to mind.

FixedOrbit shows that they have 23 peering agreements. Unfortunately, who knows which ones they are actually utilizing or have turned up.

No it is a dedicated server with just Solap and nothing else.

I believe one of MrC's last posts clarifies this but I can't be bothered to check. (Page before this?)

I saw MrC's post and edited mine accordingly.
