Anybody knows C&C: Renegade?

I would like to see a C&C Tiberian Universe combined with the depth of an Allegiance RTS/FPS game. That would be really really cool.

Renegade is the FPS C&C I know of it, have a friend who plays it a bit.

Well the universe making is up to me I suppose, but the game itself is up to the others. I still have no idea how to fill in the alien factions as of yet, up till now I've just branded everyone as "the factions". Gotta sort that out some time. and make an Allegiance: Quantus timeline.

As usual comments go in the blog to avoid this thread being clogged up. Also, I would like the developers of the games (Radruin ... Muman etc) even if you dont want to read the story to please read the footnote at the bottom about the factions.

It's something we have to discuss and decide before full scale development goes ahead. It would also help with my story.

Are we going to have all the factions?

I'd like to eventually have all the factions implemented. It will likely be best to start off with 2-3 factions, get them all modeled and balanced and stuff, and then phase in another, balance it with the others, phase in the next, etc. 'til we have everything.

On an optimistic note: I GOT MY PYTHON BOOK TODAY! lol. So I'm gonna start it right now. It's 400 pages, but python reportedly takes about 1/3 the code on average to do the same thing as Java, so it shouldn't be too rough. Cad, have you gotten a response from Microsoft yet?

Python's coming along nicely; it's even easier than Java.
