Rix TP1 has happened, its a risky strategy but ive seen it work well enough. Its harder for rix to do it though as they need high money settings to do the tp rush, for your faction it would be easy and quick as all you need is initial garrison.
Rix needs 20k upg to Starbase, 10k for bombers and 5k for TP1 and then probably another 3k for bombers which means they need around 40k to do a tp1 rush attack.
Your faction would need 10k for bombers, 5k for tp and 3k for bombers, only 18k which is doable from the start on more common money settings. Of course it doesnt have the same as Rix sending out initial SR scouts thus allowing tp1 scout to rip to it etc...
(The numbers are actually just an educated guess, real numbers may be higher, or lower, or the same)

I suppose it doesnt actually matter anyway as it will be the core devs who decide on that stuff anyway and they can balance it as they wish.
