Why not just swap range and damage GAs with Ship Hull GA, so sup gets MOAR POWAH (especially with missile gas) and expo gets more robust ships?

minepacks are the most important element of dogfighting with a fighter and it's a concept that only a handful of people can grasp
even if your enemy doesn't even hit your minepack, it's important because it buys you more time to keep your range and fire from a distance.

Shields on carriers creates a docking bug, you can get away with it on ASS carriers because you can use thrusters to keep it in line, but with the AI, that damn thing gets buggy.

K that may be, but when's the last time anyone docked a carrier drone?

They may be powerful in beginning game. But once mk3 tech is up they die much too fast to be worth their investment.

He means docking AT a carrier, not docking the carrier itself. i.e. the whole purpose of carriers.
